Sharon Emery started playing piano at the age of seven and has not stopped since.
Originally from Illinois, she grew up in church and then played piano for her church for twenty five years. She also played for the "Gospel Tones" in Illinois. After moving to Alabama she played for the group "For His Glory," then "Second Generation" for four years and now for "The Waylighters." Playing gospel music is her mission for the Lord. 

A little known fact about Sharon that she likes to tell folks is that she and her Dad were baptized together.  This was one of the proudest moments of her life.  She accepted the Lord into her life at age 10 and her Dad was 40.   

Sharon and her husband, Keith have been married for 32 years and have two children, a daughter, Brande that lives in Illinois, and a son, Brian, who returned home from Iraq in October.   They are also blessed with four grandchildren.  Sharon attends Lakeview Baptist church.
 
Sharon's favorite Bible verse is II Timothy 4:7, "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith."
